An elaborate four-part setting of When the Saints go marchin' in. Featured are the first oboe in a "Tunis" (Ports of Call) sounding solo and the horn section. The finale has a drum cadence that features the entire percussion section and an optional Jazz section that can be stretched out into a quasi Dixieland Jam session if there are any strong jazz players in the orchestra. The Saints is one of the most popular pieces in our library and has become a favorite first half and program closer on many Pops Concerts around the country.
