Tim Sullivan is a veteran sports columnist for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and an utter novice as a lyricist. The Ballad of Herman marks the first time his words have been set to music. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a journalism degree and no formal musical training beyond high school glee club. He claims to be a good singer, and aspires to star in the first Karaoke Night at Carnegie Hall.
